OUR BELIEFS

Man is a creation of God. The all knowing God in His immense power was pleased in creating man out of nothing. The power of His words made things come into existance, things on earth and everything that exists outside of the earth.

Gen 1:26; Psalm 138:14

Jesus is the Christ, the son of the Living God.

Matthew 1:1, 16:16; John 10:29-36

The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are one God in three persons.

Matthew 3:16, Deut 6:4

The Bible is the word of God and is authoritative. Although through nature a revelation of God is available, it is the Bible that provides the clear plan of redemption for humanity. It is the word of God that brings life to men. It is a light to the path of those who want to follow Him. It is food for the hungry souls.

2 Tim 3:16; 2 Pet 1:21; Rom 15:14; John 6:63

Salvation is found in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Every passage that deals with salvation in the Bible and with Christian responsibilities points toward the believer having a relationship with Christ. Repentance, Confession, and Baptism all make a relationship possible with Christ. Church attendance, prayer, Bible reading, evangelism, and Christian responsibility aim at creating and maintaining a relationship with God.

John 1:4, 17:3

Every Believer is to exercise his proper place in the kingdom.

Every believer is a special part in the body of Christ. Just as in a body, every part has a function so in the Kingdom of Christ, every believer is to exercise His calling and gifts for the expansion of the kingdom.

Every Christian is to obey the call of the great commission.

Although it is possible to share the love of God and the gospel in indirect ways, at some point every believer is to open his mouth and share Christ with people. This is a responsibility of everyone who follows Christ.
